    Tua Irma
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

1963

After nearly a decade spent in Australia, Nino and Irma feel the call
of their beloved homeland. Armed with the knowledge they’ve gained, they decide
to return. Their passion for wine and pride in their roots drove them to
restore the first vineyard planted by our great-grandfather Antonio, on the
enchanting “Rive” of the church in Selva del Montello.
That ancient passion for wine transforms into homemade production,
sold in bulk to friends and acquaintances. From this place rich in history and
meaning arises the name of our winery, Rive della Chiesa.
    Expansion and exploration

    1992

Michele, captivated by the world of winemaking, completes his studies at the Conegliano School of Oenology. After a period of work experience at other wineries, he decides, alongside Nino, to combine their knowledge and take the homemade production to the next level, by starting to bottle the wine instead of selling it only in bulk. In an era marked by bold challenges and unexplored opportunities, Michele and Luigi come together to bring the authenticity of Montello to the world. The two brothers, driven by a deep passion for their land and wine, lead Rive della Chiesa winery with a bold and innovative vision.
      PASSION BEYOND BORDERS

      1994

In the years when the idea of exploring the foreign market was still a novelty, Michele and Luigi decided to take their Prosecco outside of Italy. Driven by passion and determination to make the name of Rive della Chiesa known beyond borders, they opened new horizons for their winery. The first international tastings took place in Munich and Vienna; these two countries were the only importers of Prosecco at the time. However, Michele, becoming increasingly daring, decided to go even further. Crossing the Atlantic, he brought Prosecco to a new land: America. With determination and commitment, he introduced Rive della Chiesa Prosecco to the tables of enthusiasts in the United States, opening the doors to an entirely new market.
        A glimpse into the future

        2021

In the decades that followed, the children of Michele and Luigi, raised amidst the vineyards and steeped in family tradition, joined the company. With a fresh and innovative perspective, they decided to work alongside their parents, learning the arts of winemaking and international trade. Looking toward the future, they committed to steering the company toward new horizons, acquiring valuable knowledge from the previous generation. Today, Rive della Chiesa is a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation. The young heirs are gearing up for a future where they will merge rich history with new ideas and technologies. Guided by their love for the land and wine, they pledge to write the next chapter of Rive della Chiesa while keeping the promise of quality and authenticity alive.

        THE HISTORY OF A FAMILY
        THE EVOLUTION OF A COMPANY.

With his return, Nino brought to life the promise of love towards his family and his land: to create a company that he could live with all his loved ones.

          THE FAMILY, THE VINEYARDS

          OUR STRENGTH THE FAMILY
          OUR TREASURE THE VINEYARDS.

          • The family

Three generations, united by their love and passion for wine, come together in a single desire: to preserve the quality inherited from past generations and to take the result of so much work all over the world, to make the joy of conviviality known.
          • The vineyards

The vineyard is the heart of the winery and our family its sap: the most precious memories are all linked to this territory and the people who live it. The Colli Asolani, a UNESCO heritage site, are home to the vineyards of Rive della Chiesa, with their history, culture and flavours.
